At Woods Metals Car Breakers, we specialize in buying and breaking all types of vehicles — whether they’re old, new, damaged, failed the NCT, or simply at the end of their life. We are a fully licensed waste facility, proudly registered with Donegal County Council, and based in Lower Keeldrum, Gortahork, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal (F92 A3Y0).
We cover the entire Donegal area and offer free vehicle collection, making it easy and hassle-free for you to scrap your car responsibly. Our breaker’s yard holds a wide range of vehicles suitable for parts, including modern makes and models.

Our Story
It wasn’t easy getting Woods Metals Car Breakers off the ground. The licensing process alone was a mountain to climb — between the paperwork, inspections, and constant back-and-forth, it felt like one step forward, two steps back. But we stuck with it, did everything by the book, and we got there in the end. Today, we’re proud to say we’re a fully licensed, insured, and council-approved waste facility, operating to all the required regulations and environmental standards. It wasn’t handed to us — we earned it, and we’re committed to doing things right every single day.
